Jay: And what book are you unleashing on the world?

WeeksThe Horror Squad Book 3

Jay: How do you describe your series to a new reader finding you for the first time?

Weeks: A group of friends come together along with some that are picked up along the way. Book 3 is a continuation of the adventure of living in the apocalypse.

Jay: The stories read very personal to me. How did you achieve that tone?

Weeks: I took numerous close friends and started writing this series as a project to cure a bit of writer’s block I was having; I never expected to publish it. Some of the conversations are actual conversations that have gone on between some of the characters and I.

Jay: That’s interesting. The characters are fun and real, I think. But this book is also full of zombie action too. Horror Squad may need one of those old school warning labels we used to put on media to try to protect people, but were really just meant to sell more copies. What warning label would you put on this?

Weeks: Parental advisory or Warning: cussing, drinking, and killing all inside!

Jay: That would sell some books. People, do yourself a favor. Pick up book 1 of Horror Squad. Then, read book 2, so you can get to book 3. There are a bunch of cool in between books too you need to check out. Believe me. It will be worth it.
